How Basil Bottle Works:

Fill any recycled beverage bottle (glass or plastic) with clean water, add the kit components, and set it in a sunny windowsill. As the water level drops, give it a quick refill with a squirt bottle and let your basil do the rest.

What’s Included:

1. Seeds: Heirloom lemon basil seeds, from our garden, carefully selected for strong growth and vibrant flavor. We include extra seeds with every kit so you can easily restart or grow another plant whenever you like.
2. Root Cork: Seeds go here. Securely holds the basil at the neck of the bottle while allowing roots to grow downward into the water below. It stabilizes the basil above the reservoir while keeping the root zone properly positioned for hydration and oxygen access. 
3. Self-Watering Rope: Wick’s up water to the root cork. Keeping it at the ideal moisture level. Providing water and nutrients for the roots to drink whenever they’re thirsty. 
4. Plant Food + Hydro Biology: Contains all 17 essential nutrients lemon basil needs to thrive. Our nutrient blend is designed to feed your basil at every stage. Plus, beneficial microbes that act like a tiny support team around the roots. Helping basil access nutrients, strengthen roots, enhance leaf growth, and support a thriving root zone.
